President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Leader of the Opposition and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi have extended warm greetings to the people of Tripura on the occasion of the state’s Statehood Day.

President Droupadi Murmu, in her message on Sunday, greeted the people of Meghalaya, Tripura and Manipur, lauding the Northeastern states for their rich cultural legacy, vibrant traditions and extraordinary natural beauty. She said the enterprising and talented people of these states have made remarkable contributions to the nation’s progress and expressed hope that their future would be marked by peace and prosperity.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed special greetings to the people of Tripura, highlighting the state’s inspiring journey marked by a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity. He noted that Tripura has witnessed pioneering transformations across various sectors and that its people are playing an important role in strengthening India’s growth momentum. The Prime Minister expressed confidence that the state would continue to prosper in the years ahead.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also greeted the people of Tripura on Statehood Day, stating that the state has scaled new heights in development and has emerged as a proud contributor to India’s growth story. He expressed hope that Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha would continue to lead the state forward, fulfilling the aspirations of the people under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.

BJP National President Nitin Nabin extended his best wishes as well, acknowledging Tripura’s consistent contributions to national development. He described the state as a symbol of harmony and tradition, renowned for its rich culture and heritage.

Leader of the Opposition and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi also wished the people of Tripura on their Foundation Day. Calling the Northeastern states vibrant in culture and history, he emphasized their integral role in India’s diversity and appealed for strengthening unity through peace, harmony and prosperity.
