A special mega health camp was organized today for government employees in Sepahijala district as part of the Chief Minister’s Niramay Arogya Abhiyan.

The camp was held across 11 administrative buildings, including the District Collectorate, 3 Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) offices, and 7 Block Development Officer (BDO) offices.

The health camp provided free medical services to employees above 30 years of age, including screening for high blood pressure, diabetes, fatty liver, chronic kidney disease, COPD, stroke, cancer, dental check-ups, and Aarogya Health Card generation. A total of 504 individuals received free medical consultations, blood tests, and medicines.

The camp was visited by District Magistrate Dr. Siddharth Shiv Jashwal, Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Magistrate Binky Saha, District Health & Family Welfare Officer Dr. Deep Kumar Debbarma, Bishalgarh Sub-Division Health Officer Dr. Arijit Sinha, and other officials. Various doctors, healthcare workers, and staff from different blocks of Sipahijala were also present.

Under the initiative of the District Collector, all government employees of the district have been included in this program, with a plan to ensure that each employee receives an Aarogya Health Card.

The Chief Minister’s Niramay Arogya Abhiyan will be conducted in two phases: the first from January 1 to January 21, 2026, and the second from July 1 to July 24, 2026. Additionally, the INTAS Foundation conducted awareness programs on Hemophilia during the camp.

This initiative aims to strengthen preventive healthcare among government employees and ensure early detection and treatment of chronic and lifestyle-related diseases.
