The Tripura Board of Secondary Education has commenced the evaluation of answer scripts for the ongoing secondary and higher secondary examinations.
However, the board’s president, Dr. Dhananjay Gan Choudhury, has expressed concerns that this year’s results could be delayed by nearly a week compared to the scheduled date.
Dr. Choudhury, during an on-site inspection of the evaluation process today, cited the ongoing ADC elections as a possible reason for the delay. He noted that teachers’ involvement in election-related work has affected the evaluation process to some extent.
He further stated that the evaluation process began on April 6 across six schools. In four schools, the evaluation of secondary examination answer scripts is underway: Bani Vidyapith Girls’ School, Bodhjung Girls’ School, Kamini Kumar Higher Secondary School, and Bijaykumar Girls’ School.
Meanwhile, the evaluation of higher secondary examination answer scripts has started at Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan and Bardowali Twelfth Grade School. This year, nearly 2,200 teachers are engaged in the evaluation work. The board has indicated that it is striving to complete the evaluations promptly, aiming to release the results by the first week of May.
