The Government of Tripura has appointed, IAS, Shantanu as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council with immediate effect.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration (Personnel & Training) Department on June 8, 2026, Shantanu, IAS (TR:1997), has been repatriated from central deputation and posted as Principal Secretary to the Government of Tripura in the Higher Administrative Grade (HAG) Scale at Level 15 of the Pay Matrix.
In addition to his responsibilities as Principal Secretary, Shantanu has been entrusted with the charge of the Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department and will also serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the TTAADC.
"With this appointment, Raval Hamendra Kumar, who was holding the additional charge of CEO, TTAADC, will be relieved of the responsibility once Shantanu formally assumes office", said the notification.
The notification also stated that K. Sasikumar has been relieved from the charge of the Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department.
The order was issued by the General Administration (Personnel & Training) Department in the interest of public service and takes immediate effect.
