Tripura ramps up efforts to maximize revenue collection, focuses on GST

The Tripura government is intensifying efforts to maximize revenue collection, with Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy setting a target to ensure all dues are collected by March.

Chairing a crucial meeting on Saturday, the Finance Minister emphasized Tripura’s impressive standing in GST collection relative to its population and underscored the need to sustain and improve this momentum.

In a Facebook post, Singha Roy highlighted discussions with revenue officials on strategies to boost tax compliance, streamline administrative processes, and encourage taxpayer participation.

He expressed confidence that through collective efforts, the state could achieve significant progress in revenue mobilization.

“This initiative will not only strengthen our state’s financial position but also contribute to its overall development,” he stated.
