The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) on Wednesday announced the results for the Secondary (Class 10) and Higher Secondary (Class 12) examinations for the academic year, with South Tripura and Sepahijala districts emerging as top performers.
As per official figures released during a press conference, 25,673 students passed the Secondary examination, while 17,052 students cleared the Higher Secondary exam.
The overall pass percentage for Class 10 stood at 86.53%, while Class 12 recorded a 79.29% success rate.
TBSE President Dr. Dhananjay Gan Chowdhury informed that 29,670 students appeared in the Secondary examination, including 13,861 boys and 15,809 girls from 1,057 schools across the state. South Tripura district led with a pass percentage of 92.69%, whereas Khowai district recorded the lowest at 78.54%.
In the Higher Secondary examination, 21,506 students appeared—9,920 boys and 11,586 girls. Sepahijala district topped with an impressive 87.38% pass percentage, while Khowai again remained at the bottom with 71.95%.
TBSE Secretary Dr. Dulal Dey shared that among candidates with physical disabilities, 110 out of 166 passed the Secondary examination and 70 out of 90 cleared Higher Secondary.
He added that students seeking a review of their answer scripts may apply through their respective schools on May 7, 8, and 9.
