Tripura CM backs armed forces after Operation Sindoor says India will not remain silent

Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday strongly backed the Indian Armed Forces following Operation Sindoor, stating that years of terrorist attacks on Indian soil warrant a firm and decisive response.

Reacting to the airstrike, Dr. Saha condemned the recent killing of 26 people by Pakistan-based terrorists in Pahalgam and said it was time India responded with resolve.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made it clear—terrorism will not be tolerated, and no one will be spared. Today’s strike is proof that what the Prime Minister says, he delivers. Terrorist camps and training facilities have been destroyed. Several terrorists were neutralized. Importantly, no civilian casualties have been reported so far," he said.

Dr. Saha emphasized the people’s support for the Prime Minister and the Armed Forces, adding that Tripura stands united with the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force.

"A mock drill is scheduled for today. The Centre has already explained the circumstances and objectives of the operation. India has endured countless terrorist attacks over the years. This strike is a clear message—we will not remain silent. Our forces have delivered a strong reply," the Chief Minister stated.
