3,500 EVMs Reach Tripura Ahead of TTAADC Polls on April 12

In preparation for the upcoming Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections scheduled for April 12, a total of 3,500 Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) have been transported from Madhya Pradesh to the State Election Commission (SEC) office in Agartala.

According to SEC Secretary Anurag Sen, the machines arrived under strict security arrangements and will be distributed the same day to the offices of District Magistrates across the state.

Dedicated teams consisting of officials, police personnel, and support staff have already been mobilized for the process.

Sen further stated that the EVMs will be stored in warehouses across all eight districts before being deployed for the elections, which will cover all 28 seats of the district council. All the machines received will be utilized exclusively for the TTAADC polls.
