Addressing the gathering, Minister for Social Welfare and Social Education, Tinku Roy, underscored the significance of the event as more than just a symbolic gesture.

“This rally is a clarion call to every citizen. The fight against drug abuse cannot be won by the administration alone—it demands united action from communities, families, and institutions,” he said.

Roy urged every individual and organization to step forward and actively participate in building a safer, healthier Tripura, free from the scourge of drugs. He stressed that real change could only be achieved when awareness is translated into consistent, community-driven efforts.
