Tripura Power, Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare Minister Ratan Lal Nath today said that to fulfil Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, development of the Janajati areas is essential.
As part of the ongoing “Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh – Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan,” a special programme was successfully organised today at Lefunga R.D Block with active participation from the tribal community and stakeholders.
Speaking about the event, Minister Nath said that the initiative focused on fostering Janajati identity, enhancing community involvement in governance, and raising awareness on developmental schemes.
“Our state government is working for overall development—starting from schools, markets, roads, hospitals, free rice, and housing. We are also working for the infrastructure development of schools, like we did in Lefunga school. If we develop Janajati areas, then Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas is possible. That is why the state government, along with the central government, is working. We are working to find out loopholes in the development of Janajati areas so that they do not lag behind in anything,” said Minister Nath.
He also informed that the per capita income of the state has increased and the state is not in crisis.
“The Central government is also working for the benefit of the people, providing various schemes like PM Vishwakarma. The Central and State governments, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, are working for all. We never see political colour in providing benefits,” he said.
During the event, PRTC, Aadhaar cards, marriage certificates, etc., were issued. Agricultural equipment was also distributed to farmers.
Minister Nath also distributed weaving machines to 30 Janajati weavers.
