Two Workers Critically Injured After Boiling Oil Spills in Tripura Sweet Shop

Two workers were critically injured after a pan filled with boiling oil overturned at a sweet shop in the Kameshwar Lalbazar area of Dharmanagar under North Tripura District.

According to local sources, the injured workers have been identified as Nirapad Das and Bapan Chandra Deb. The incident occurred while they were working at the shop, when the large pan containing hot oil suddenly overturned.

Within moments, both workers sustained severe burn injuries on multiple parts of their bodies. Other staff members and locals present at the scene immediately rushed to their aid and took them to Dharmanagar District Hospital for treatment.

Doctors at the hospital stated that both victims have suffered deep burns over a significant portion of their bodies, and their condition is said to be critical.

The incident has created panic and concern in the area.
