Tragedy struck in Hejamara in West Tripura District when supporters of Tipra Motha candidate Rabindra Debbarma were involved in a serious accident while returning from a rally. Two individuals lost their lives at the scene, and 12 others sustained significant injuries.

Reports indicate that the victims were traveling back from a party event when the vehicle met with the accident. The Fire and Emergency Services swiftly rescued the injured and transported them to Hejamara Primary Hospital.

Hospital officials confirmed that among the 12 injured, two were in critical condition and were immediately transferred to GB Hospital. Despite medical efforts, both critical patients later passed away. The remaining injured received initial care at Hejamara Primary Hospital before being moved to GB Hospital for further treatment.

Tipra Motha candidate Rabindra Debbarma visited the hospital to check on the condition of the injured. The accident has left the local community in shock, and authorities have launched an investigation to determine its cause.
