The Tripura Department for Welfare of Scheduled Castes has set an ambitious 100-day target to accelerate the implementation of key schemes aimed at the welfare and socio-economic upliftment of the SC community.
Tripura's Minister for Welfare of Scheduled Castes, Sudhangshu Das, announced the initiative following a high-level review meeting held in Agartala on Wednesday.
“The main objective of the review meeting was to evaluate our performance during the 2024–25 financial year and strategize for effective implementation of the budget and welfare schemes planned for 2025–26,” Das said.
He highlighted that the department critically analyzed both its successes and shortcomings in the previous financial year, with a focus on ensuring timely delivery of welfare measures moving forward.
“We are adopting a mission-mode approach over the next 100 days to implement several important schemes. Our goal is to ensure comprehensive development and improved quality of life for the SC community through targeted and timely interventions,” the minister added.
