Brigadier Nishant Chandel, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of 21 Sector, Assam Rifles, met with Anurag, Director General of Police (DGP), Tripura, to discuss the prevailing security scenario in the state.

During the meeting, the senior officers emphasized the importance of close coordination and cooperation between Assam Rifles and Tripura Police to ensure effective security management. 

Discussions focused on strategies to maintain law and order, strengthen border security, and address emerging security challenges.

Both officials reiterated their commitment to collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing safety and stability in Tripura.

The meeting reflects ongoing efforts to foster synergy between central armed forces and state police for a robust security framework in the region.
