Tripura's Minister for Fisheries, SC Welfare, and Animal Resources Development Department (ARDD), Sudhangshu Das, today chaired a state-level review meeting for the West District at the District Magistrate’s office.

Speaking to media persons, Minister Das said, “This is part of a continuous series of review meetings aimed at assessing the implementation of schemes under SC Welfare, ARDD, and Fisheries departments. With today’s meeting, the review for the financial year 2025–26 will be completed.”

He said that key discussions included utilization of funds allocated to the three departments, implementation of various skill development projects, and evaluating the Action Taken Reports submitted by officials.

“We are also focusing on how best to execute the current financial year's budget allocations efficiently and ensure timely delivery of benefits to the public,” the minister added. 

He emphasized that appropriate decisions will be taken based on the performance and outcomes shared by the officials.

The meeting was attended by West District Magistrate Dr Vishal Kumar, senior departmental officers, district officials, and field-level staff.
