Brijesh Panday, a 2004-batch IAS officer of the Tripura cadre, has been appointed Joint Secretary in the Department of Capital Development for a period of five years from the date he assumes charge, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Panday will succeed Thara D, a 1995-batch IAS officer, in the post.
Pandey is currently serving as Chief Electoral Officer, Tripura Election Department, Secretary of Public Works Department (Sanitation part of Drinking Water & Sanitation), Home (prisons), G.A. (Printing & Stationary) GA(Political) Department.
His tenure will commence from the date of assuming charge, in accordance with the terms of his appointment.
