Tripura CM leaves for Delhi to attend NE investors summit, NITI Aayog meet

Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Thursday left for New Delhi to participate in a series of high-level meetings aimed at boosting investment and regional development.

Dr. Saha will attend the Rising North East Investors Summit on May 23 at around 10:30 AM at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

The two-day summit, scheduled for May 23–24, will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi

The event is being billed as a major initiative to unlock investment potential in the North Eastern states.

Organized by the central government with active support from the states of the North Eastern Region, the summit is the culmination of several pre-summit activities, including a series of roadshows, state-level roundtables, the Ambassador’s Meet, and the Bilateral Chambers Meet.

Following the summit, the Chief Minister is also scheduled to attend the Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog on May 24. He is likely to return to Tripura later that evening.

The dual engagements are seen as crucial for positioning Tripura as a key player in the region’s development roadmap and attracting national and international investments.
