With the upcoming elections to the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) drawing closer, Manik Saha on Saturday chaired a key meeting with leaders of the BJP Janajati Morcha to discuss the party’s strategy and preparations.
The meeting was held at the Pradesh BJP Office in Agartala, where senior leaders, party functionaries, and Janajati representatives gathered to deliberate on the roadmap for the upcoming council polls.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Saha said the party has already begun formulating its strategy in view of the approaching elections. He emphasized that the meeting was aimed at strengthening coordination among leaders and planning the party’s course of action in the coming days.
“Everyone is aware that the TTAADC elections are approaching, and keeping that in mind, the Pradesh BJP has already started working on its strategy. Today, Janajati Morcha karyakartas, leaders, and members have gathered here to discuss how we will move forward and contest the elections,” he said.
The Chief Minister added that detailed discussions would be held during the meeting regarding organizational preparedness and grassroots-level mobilisation.
Among those present at the meeting were BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharya, BJP Janajati Morcha president Parimal Debbarma, BJP organisational secretary (Tripura and Assam) Ravindra Raju, general secretary Bipin Debbarma, Minister Bikash Debbarma, along with several former MDCs, party office bearers, and MLAs.
The meeting focused on strengthening the party’s organisational structure and ensuring coordinated efforts to effectively contest the upcoming TTAADC elections.
