A 16-member delegation of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Tripura, led by State President Rajib Bhattacharya, attended the “North East Training Mahabhiyan – 2026” workshop in Guwahati today, as the party prepares for the upcoming Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections.
Speaking at the event, Bhattacharya noted that the workshop emphasized the party’s core ideology, organizational strategies, and future plans. He said the sessions aimed to strengthen the party’s structure and outreach across the Northeast.
The training brought together senior leaders and cadres from across the region to exchange ideas and provide strategic guidance. Discussions focused on enhancing party efficiency and dynamism, with particular attention on key upcoming elections, including the TTAADC polls.
Bhattacharya stressed that a strong organizational framework, meticulous planning, and the active participation of dedicated party workers are critical to achieving the BJP’s objectives. He reaffirmed the party’s commitment to engaging with the tribal electorate and building robust grassroots networks in Tripura’s autonomous council areas.
The delegation from Tripura included Social Welfare Minister Tinku Roy, Panchayat Minister Kishor Barman, MLAs Rampada Jamatia and Bhagaban Das, Party Spokesperson Subrata Chakraborty, Nadendu Bhattacharya, General Secretary Amit Rakshit, among others.
This training initiative is viewed as part of the BJP’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in the Northeast and ensure party cadres are well-prepared for the TTAADC elections.
