Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury today said that he conducted an inspection of the under-construction National Highway-8 (NH-8) stretch from Khayerpur to Champaknagar, with special focus on the portion from Karaiban to Acharya Tila under the Majlishpur Assembly constituency.
The inspection was carried out in the morning along with local public representatives, officials from NHIDCL and the Public Works Department (PWD), the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, and officers from various concerned departments.
During the visit, the Minister interacted with local residents and listened to several public grievances related to the ongoing national highway construction. He directed the concerned officials to take appropriate and timely measures to address the issues raised by the public.
The Minister emphasized the importance of maintaining construction quality and ensuring minimal inconvenience to residents during the execution of the project.
