The Tipra Motha Party has unanimously chosen Bhabha Ranjan Reang as the Chairman and Runeil Debbarma as the Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC).

According to party sources, a meeting of all newly elected Members of the District Council (MDCs) was held at Rajbari, Ujjayanta Palace in Agartala. The session was conducted through video conferencing and chaired by Pradyot Bikram Manikya, the founder of the Tipra Motha Party.

During the meeting, MDCs collectively approved the proposed leadership names for the upcoming council term. Along with Reang as Chairman and Debbarma as CEM, C. K. Jamatia was selected as Executive Member (EM).

Senior leaders including Minister Brishaketu Debbarma, MLAs S. Ranjit Debbarma and Biswajit Debbarma were present and extended their congratulations to the newly elected leaders. They expressed confidence that the new team will continue the developmental work and strengthen welfare initiatives in the TTAADC region.

The formal election for the posts of Chairman and CEM is scheduled for May 5 at the TTAADC Council Bhavan in Khumulwng. The oath-taking ceremony will be held on May 6, 2026 at the Nuai Auditorium Hall in Khumulwng.
