Kamalpur pf Tripura's Dhalai District on Wednesday witnessed a tragic accident in which three people lost their lives and four others were injured after the chimney of ABC Brick Industry suddenly collapsed.

According to reports, the chimney fell without warning, trapping several workers underneath. Three people died on the spot due to the impact. Upon receiving information about the incident, teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and the police rushed to the site and immediately launched rescue and relief operations. The injured were rescued from the debris and admitted to a nearby hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.

Tripura Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident through social media. He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to the injured. The Chief Minister also directed the administration to ensure proper medical care for the injured and to stand by the affected families during this difficult time.

Meanwhile, the police have initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the chimney collapse.
