The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has announced that the remaining "Bochor Bachao" examinations for the 2026 academic session will commence on July 6, marking the final phase of the Secondary and Higher Secondary examination schedule.
Addressing the media, TBSE President Dr. Dhananjoy Gan Chowdhury said that although the regular Secondary and Higher Secondary examinations were completed earlier, the overall examination process will officially conclude only after the pending "Bochor Bachao" examinations are held.
A total of 26 examination centres have been designated across Tripura for the special exams. To ensure efficient management, TBSE will organise a coordination meeting with the centre superintendents on July 2. The meeting will focus on examination guidelines, operational arrangements, security measures, and other logistical preparations to ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations.
The examination centres have been distributed across the districts as follows: West Tripura (5), Dhalai (6), North Tripura (4), South Tripura (3), Unakoti (2), Khowai (2), Gomati (2), and Sepahijala (2).
TBSE officials stated that all necessary preparations are underway and expressed confidence that the remaining examinations will be conducted peacefully and without disruption.
