Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Minister of Rural Development, Agriculture, and Farmers’ Welfare, will inaugurate the Public Representatives’ Conference and the inauguration of various rural development projects, along with beneficiary felicitations, on 11th February at 11:30 AM at Swami Vivekananda Maidan, Agartala, to mark the enactment of the “VB-G Ram G Act 2025.”

The event will witness the presence of Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha as the chief guest. Other dignitaries attending as special guests include Biplab Kumar Deb, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha); Ratan Lal Nath, Minister of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare; Pranajit Singha Roy, Finance Minister; Santana Chakma, Minister of Industry & Commerce; Sushanta Chowdhury, Minister of Food, Public Distribution & Consumer Affairs; Tinku Roy, Minister of Social Welfare & Social Education; Bikash Debbarma, Minister of Tribal Welfare; Sudhangshu Das, Minister of Scheduled Castes Welfare; Shuklacharan Noatia, Minister of Cooperatives; Animesh Debbarma, Minister of Forests; and Brishaketu Debbarma, Minister of State for Industry & Commerce.

Additionally, Rajib Bhattacharya, MP, and Kriti Devi Debbarma, MP (Lok Sabha), will attend as honored guests. The programme will be presided over by Kishore Barman, Minister of the Panchayat Department.

The event will feature the inauguration of multiple rural development initiatives and the felicitation of project beneficiaries, highlighting the state’s commitment to rural prosperity and inclusive growth.
