Tripura Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Thursday said that a series of “Panchayat-based meetings” have been initiated by the Majlishpur Mandal to further strengthen and consolidate the party organisation.

As part of the programme, Chowdhury attended an organisational meeting at North Majlishpur Gram Panchayat under his Assembly constituency, along with elected representatives, booth presidents, party leaders and workers.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on strengthening booth-level organisation, improving grassroots activities, ensuring that welfare schemes of the Central and State governments reach people’s doorsteps, and building greater public trust.

Chowdhury said the party remains committed to the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” and the ideals of Antyodaya, with the aim of ensuring the welfare of people at the last mile. He also interacted with party workers and sought their views on strengthening organisational activities.
