Rs 50,000 PMNRF Aid Sanctioned for Agartala Resident’s Treatment

Financial assistance of Rs 50,000 has been sanctioned from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for the advanced medical treatment of Soham Pal, a resident of Ramnagar in Agartala.

Tripura MP Biplab Kumar Deb thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for approving the assistance and extending support for Pal’s treatment.

According to Deb, the case came to his notice following a request for financial assistance for advanced medical care. The application was subsequently forwarded to the concerned authorities under the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund. The request was processed and approved within a short period, with Rs 50,000 sanctioned towards the patient’s treatment.

Deb said that several similar cases requiring financial support for advanced medical treatment had been forwarded in the past. He added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had responded positively to most such requests and extended assistance after due consideration.

The MP expressed his appreciation to the Prime Minister for the timely approval of financial assistance to Soham Pal, saying that the support would help the family meet part of the expenses involved in his advanced treatment.
