Tripura Police of Amtali Police Station have detained a Rohingya youth from the Hapania area following a raid conducted on the basis of secret information. According to police sources, the youth had been residing in the area for the past two months.

The detained individual has been identified as Kabil Anam, who is reportedly a resident of Myanmar. Police said he was arrested yesterday during a special operation. He was produced before the court today, and police have sought remand for further interrogation.

Police officials claim that important information has been obtained during the initial questioning, and they hope to identify other individuals or networks linked to him. 

An investigation is currently underway to determine how the youth managed to settle in the area, as well as to verify his identity documents and movements.

The incident has created a sense of tension and curiosity among local residents. Police stated that the matter is being treated with utmost importance and that all aspects are being thoroughly investigated in the interest of the inquiry.
