Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha today said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not only uniting the country but also playing a pivotal role in preserving India’s glorious heritage through his monthly radio address, Mann Ki Baat.

Dr. Saha made the remarks after listening to the 124th episode of Mann Ki Baat at booth number 58 under Majlishpur Mandal in Jirania subdivision, accompanied by Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury and local party workers.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said, “We eagerly await every episode of Mann Ki Baat to hear our Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi speak. This was his 124th address, and once again, he touched upon topics that many were unaware of. We always learn something new from his words.”

Highlighting the unique connect the Prime Minister has with people from all walks of life, Dr. Saha said, “There is no other leader in the world who connects with the masses like PM Modi does. Through Mann Ki Baat, he speaks from the heart — covering diverse topics ranging from sports and space to technology, culture, and handicrafts. He even narrates stories from our history and shares the legacy of ancient forts across India.”

The Chief Minister emphasized the Prime Minister’s call for exploring India before going abroad. “PM Modi urges everyone to discover the richness of India’s cultural heritage — from our majestic forts to the unsung heroes of our past. These structures are more than just stone monuments; they hold centuries of history and struggle within them.”

Dr. Saha also lauded the Majlishpur Mandal for organizing the event and bringing people together to listen to the Prime Minister’s inspiring message.

“I thank Majlishpur Mandal for inviting me. Programs like this help strengthen the bond between leaders and the public and reinforce the idea of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’,” he added.
