Municipal Corporation Task Force Removes Illegal Flexes, Banners to Maintain City Aesthetics

In an effort to maintain the city’s beauty and discipline, the Agartala Municipal Corporation’s task force conducted a drive to remove illegal flexes and festoons. The operation was carried out today in the Ker Choumuhani area under the initiative of the Central Zone.

During the drive illegal flexes, festoons, and banners hanging on both sides of the roads and on electric poles were removed. These materials had been installed without prior permission.

According to sources from the Municipal Corporation, such unauthorized flexes and banners not only spoil the aesthetic appeal of the city but also create obstructions to smooth traffic movement. Keeping this in mind, the civic body has taken strict steps to ensure cleanliness and order in the city as per regulations.

Municipal authorities have stated that similar drives will continue in different parts of the city in the coming days. They also warned that strict action will be taken against individuals or organizations found installing flexes or banners illegally.
