A 39-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Friday morning, sparking shock and concern in the local community. The deceased has been identified as Rabindra Das, a daily wage laborer and resident of Ward No. 3, Dupir Bond Lalchhara Gram Panchayat under North Tripura District.

According to local sources, Das left his home early Thursday around 3 a.m. and did not return. The following morning, his wife discovered him hanging from a boroi tree near their residence. She immediately informed the authorities.

Police, led by Officer-in-Charge Mina Debbarma and SI Niranjan Malakar, along with the TSR team, promptly arrived at the scene and began preliminary investigations. The body was later taken to Dharmanagar District Hospital for autopsy and is currently kept in the hospital morgue. After the post-mortem examination, the body will be handed over to the family.

The exact cause of Rabindra Das’s death has not yet been determined, and the police investigation is ongoing.
