A devastating fire completely destroyed the animal hospital located adjacent to Bardowal Tehsil cemetery of Melaghar under Sepahijala District. 

In a matter of moments, all equipment and supplies inside the hospital were reduced to ashes. The intensity of the flames was so severe that the entire area was engulfed in thick smoke.

According to sources, the fire broke out in the early hours of the morning, when nearby residents noticed sudden flames. They immediately alerted the fire department. Firefighters rushed to the scene and managed to bring the blaze under control, but by then significant damage had already occurred.

The exact cause of the fire remains unclear. While a short circuit is suspected, both the fire department and local authorities have launched an investigation.

No casualties have been reported. However, valuable medical supplies, important documents, and several pieces of veterinary equipment were completely destroyed in the blaze.

The incident has caused widespread shock in the area. Local residents have criticized the authorities for long-standing negligence regarding the hospital’s electrical connections and safety measures.
