In a tragic incident, Nandan Chakraborty, a journalist associated with Syandan Patrika, lost his life in a road accident on Tuesday night.
The accident took place on a national highway near Rajapur in the Santirbazar subdivision of Tripura. According to reports, Chakraborty met with the accident while traveling on his scooter. He sustained critical injuries and was immediately rescued and taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Nandan Chakraborty was a resident of the Ramnagar area in Agartala. He is survived by his elderly mother, wife, and one child.
His sudden demise has cast a deep shadow of grief across the journalist community. Colleagues, media professionals, and people from various walks of life have expressed their condolences and mourned his untimely death, extending sympathy to his bereaved family.
