In a tragic incident late Sunday evening, a massive fire engulfed a residence in the Joynagar Chakra Sangha area, reducing an entire household’s belongings to ashes.

The blaze destroyed the house, a car, a scooter, and almost all household furniture, causing widespread shock in the neighborhood.

According to local sources, the house belongs to Gobinda Pal, who is currently in Kolkata.

At the time of the fire, the house was occupied by tenants. Suddenly, the tenants noticed smoke and flames and quickly realized that the fire was spreading rapidly in one of the rooms.

The fire brigade was promptly alerted and arrived at the scene, deploying three fire engines to control the blaze. After several hours of intense effort, firefighters managed to bring the fire under control.

By then, however, the room had been completely destroyed, and, according to local residents, nothing could be salvaged from the house. The fire consumed a room, a car, a scooter, and numerous valuable items.

The cause of the fire remains unclear, and police from the West Agartala Police Station have arrived at the scene to begin an investigation. Meanwhile, the family has been left devastated, mourning the total loss of their possessions.
