Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak arrived in Tripura on Wednesday to offer prayers at the revered Tripura Sundari Temple in Gomati district.

The dignitaries were received at Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport in Agartala by Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha along with BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharya.

Speaking to reporters after landing in Agartala, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta expressed happiness over her visit to the state and said she was eager to seek blessings at the sacred temple of Mata Tripura Sundari.

“I feel honoured to be in Tripura. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha personally came to welcome me, and I sincerely thank him and the party workers for their warm reception. I pray that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the vision of Viksit Bharat and Viksit Tripura continues to move forward, bringing prosperity and benefits to every citizen,” she said.

UP Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said the visit was aimed at seeking divine blessings for the continued progress of Tripura and the nation.

“We have come to Tripura to seek the blessings of Maa Tripura Sundari. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, development is reaching every corner of the country. After attending the swearing-in ceremony in Assam, we came here to pray for Tripura’s continued growth under Chief Minister Manik Saha and for India’s rapid progress towards the vision of Viksit Bharat,” Pathak stated.
