The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has expelled Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Khairpur Mandal President Manna De for alleged “indiscipline” and conduct deemed inappropriate for a political worker.
According to an official order issued by BJP General Secretary Amit Rakshit, the party found De “regularly publishing videos of his personal life on social media” along with “other videos being circulated on various media,” which the party termed “inappropriate, unacceptable and against party discipline and policies.”
The order stated that despite repeated verbal warnings, De continued such activities, which allegedly “tarnished the image of the party and negatively impacted the public.”
“On the orders of the Hon’ble President of Bharatiya Janata Party Tripura State, you are hereby expelled from the Bharatiya Janata Party with immediate effect,” the letter read.
With this expulsion, Manna De has been stripped of all party posts and responsibilities. He has also been barred from using the party’s name, symbol or platform in any form and will not be allowed to participate in party activities henceforth.
