Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha today announced that a series of social activities will be organized across Tripura to mark the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said the programs will also coincide with the birth anniversaries of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay and Mahatma Gandhi.
Speaking at an important meeting held at the BJP’s state headquarters in Agartala, Dr. Saha said, “September 17 is the birthday of our respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Bharatiya Janata Party observes the occasion with various service-oriented activities every year. This time, as he turns 75, we have planned special initiatives under the ‘Seva Pakhwada’ program.”
The Chief Minister noted that the events will highlight PM Modi’s contributions throughout his life—from his early years and youth to his tenure as Gujarat’s Chief Minister and his leadership as Prime Minister. “What he has done for the nation at every stage will be showcased through different activities,” he added.
Dr. Saha further said that other significant dates will also be observed, including the birth anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay on September 25 and Mahatma Gandhi on October 2. “The philosophies and life lessons of these eminent personalities will be discussed widely. On the Prime Minister’s birthday, social programs such as Swachh Bharat Abhiyan drives, voluntary blood donation camps, exhibitions, and fairs based on his life and work will be organized across the state,” he said.
The meeting was attended by BJP State President Rajib Bhattacharya, Assam and Tripura (Organization) General Secretary Ravindra Raju, MP Dr. Naresh Bansal, Tripura Pradesh General Secretary Bipin Debbarma, senior leader Bhagaban Das, and others.
