The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed new leaders to oversee preparations for the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections.
According to an official communication issued by Arun Singh, National General Secretary and Headquarters In-Charge of the BJP, the appointments were made with the approval of BJP National President J.P. Nadda.
The following leaders have been entrusted with responsibilities:
Bhupender Yadav, Union Minister for Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, Government of India – appointed as State Election In-Charge.
Biplab Kumar Deb, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) – appointed as State Election Co-Incharge.
The appointments take effect immediately.
The letter has been circulated to state-level office bearers, including the State In-Charge, State President, and State General Secretary (Organization) of West Bengal, with copies also marked to the BJP National President and National General Secretary (Organization).
