In a spirited display of youth engagement and community outreach, the Assam Rifles on Monday hosted a friendly football match with Tripura’s Under-17 football team at the Assam Rifles ground in Agartala.
The match, aimed at providing vital match experience to the young players ahead of an upcoming national-level tournament, served as both a training session and a platform for players to assess their strategies and readiness.
Officials from Assam Rifles said the initiative was part of their ongoing efforts to promote youth development and strengthen civil-military relations through sports and shared experiences.
