Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is set to visit Tripura on Thursday, January 15, where he will offer prayers at the sacred Tripura Sundari Temple in Udaipur, Gomati district.

Following the temple visit, the Chief Minister will return to Agartala by approximately 7 pm. He is scheduled to stay overnight in the state capital and is likely to hold a meeting with Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha and senior BJP functionaries.

On January 16, Himanta Biswa Sarma is expected to depart from Agartala at around 10 am.

In anticipation of the high-profile visit, security arrangements have been intensified in Agartala as well as Udaipur to ensure smooth movement and safety.
