The Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs has announced that several petrol pumps in Agartala Municipal area and its adjoining localities will remain open during the upcoming Durga Puja festival days to ensure smooth availability of petrol and diesel.

On September 29, 2025, service will be available at Rajdhani Petroleum in Bardowali, S K Petroleum at Radhanagar, Biswas & Sons at Old Motor Stand, and Highway Petroleum at Khayerpur. The following day, September 30, 2025, NG Saha at Badharghat, Lalit Petroleum Agency at Dhaleswar, Ashok Petroleum Agency at Durgabari, and Jyotsna Filling Station at Ganaraj Chowmuhani will remain open. On October 1, 2025, Ashish Petroleum at Radhanagar, Nabarun Petroleum at Bidurkarta Chowmuhani, Sarla Stores at Chandrapur, and Janakalyan Petroleum at TRTC will serve consumers.

In addition, a number of petrol pumps will operate continuously from September 29 to October 1, 2025. These include Mahanam Oil City at Ranirbazar, S S Petroleum at Madhabbari, B K Petroleum at Khayerpur, B K Petroleum (Adhoc) at Barjala, Surinder Singh at Jirania, Tripureswari Filling HPCL at Barjala, and Monindra Chandra Saha Petroleum BPCL at Ushabazar.

All the designated petrol pumps will remain open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. during the Puja days. The department stated that this arrangement has been made to prevent any inconvenience to the public in procuring fuel during the festive period.
