75 Pilgrims from Tripura to Depart for Hajj on April 20

A total of 75 pilgrims from Tripura will depart on April 20 to perform the holy Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia, officials confirmed on Tuesday.

Speaking to reporters, Tripura Haj Committee Chairman Shah Alam said that the selected pilgrims from different parts of the state will first travel to Kolkata. From there, they will board a flight to Saudi Arabia to begin their sacred journey.

Out of the 75 pilgrims, 74 are pilgrims (Hajis) and one is a Hajj inspector. The group includes 18 women and 57 men.

Shah Alam also highlighted the significant role played by the Central Haj Committee in facilitating the arrangements and ensuring a smooth pilgrim for the pilgrims.

All necessary preparations for the pilgrim  have already been completed. The administration has taken comprehensive measures to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-organized journey for all the pilgrims.
