In a commendable initiative, West Police Station has successfully recovered 35 lost mobile phones and handed them back to their rightful owners. The recovered devices were officially returned during a distribution event held at the police station in the presence of the Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rana Chatterjee and other police officials.
According to OC Rana Chatterjee, mobile phones are frequently lost in different parts of the city, prompting affected individuals to file written complaints at the station. Acting on these complaints, the police launched an investigation and, with the help of technology, traced and recovered the missing devices.
He stated that complaints regarding lost mobile phones were received from various locations. Following a detailed investigation, the police managed to recover a total of 35 mobile phones, which were later returned to their respective owners.
The recipients expressed happiness after being reunited with their lost devices and appreciated the police for their effort and initiative in recovering the phones.
