Former Tripura Chief Minister and Member of Parliament Biplab Kumar Deb received a warm reception in Bhutan as part of an Indian Parliamentary Delegation visit.

During the visit on Wednesday, Deb expressed his appreciation for the hospitality extended to the delegation and noted that the team is eager to engage in constructive discussions aimed at further strengthening the long-standing friendship between India and Bhutan.

He underscored the historically close and friendly ties shared by the two neighbouring countries, highlighting the importance of continued parliamentary cooperation, dialogue, and mutual understanding in deepening bilateral relations.

The ongoing visit is expected to further reinforce India–Bhutan ties and contribute to enhancing diplomatic and legislative exchanges between the two nations.
