The family, residing at Debakanta Para under Srikantabari ADC Village in the Koaifang area, has reportedly been struggling for years due to the lack of a proper access road. Situated in a difficult hilly terrain, the settlement remains poorly connected, forcing family members to negotiate challenging routes for their everyday needs.

The issue came to light after the family's difficulties were reported in the media. Taking note of the report, Minister Shuklacharan Noatia directed a team to visit the location, assess the family's condition and understand the difficulties they have been facing.
The team subsequently made its way to the remote Debakanta Para and interacted with the family members. During the visit, officials gathered details about their transportation problems and other difficulties caused by the lack of proper connectivity.
The affected family was also provided financial assistance on behalf of the minister.
