Preparations are underway in Tripura for the statewide observance of the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ and ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ on October 7 as part of the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said on Friday.
The programmes will be organised in all districts of Tripura alongside similar events across the country to mark 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public service.
Chowdhury made the statement after participating in an organisational meeting at the state party headquarters, where preparations for the October 7 programmes were reviewed. The meeting focused on ensuring coordinated arrangements and the smooth and disciplined conduct of the yatras across the state.
According to the minister, the initiatives seek to strengthen the emphasis on public service and expand engagement with people from different sections of society. He said the programmes would provide an opportunity to carry the message of service and social commitment to a wider section of the population.
Chowdhury expressed hope that the proposed yatras would further promote the spirit of public service and strengthen outreach among the people across Tripura.
