Padma Sri Prof. Arunoday Saha reminisced about his own student days and remarked that students today are far more advanced in their outlook and capabilities, and must be regarded as the true resources of tomorrow who will shape the nation’s future.
Er. Sarkar Banerjee remarked that students should not only learn and contribute to society, but also uphold ethical values, nurture innovation, and commit themselves to building a more inclusive and progressive nation. The carefully curated cultural items — from the opening dance drama “SaktirupenoSansthita” to the chorus of songs, vibrant dances, and the musical finale featuring Ms. Parmita Reang & Band and Meghbalika — reflected TIUT’s ethos of blending tradition, creativity, and holistic development.
Reflecting on the success of the programme, Prof. (Dr.) Ratan Kumar Saha, Vice-Chancellor of TIUT, remarked, “We planned this as a grand commencement where students’ welfare, cultural experience and proper entry into their academic journey have been given priority. We believe such programmes lay the foundation for a lifelong commitment to learning and social responsibility.”
