Gomati District Magistrate Takes Bicycle to Office to Promote Fuel Conservation

Responding to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal for energy conservation and environmental protection, Gomati District Magistrate Rinku Lather has taken a unique step to spread awareness among the public.

On Monday, the District Magistrate rode a bicycle to the district office, promoting the message of reducing fuel consumption and adopting eco-friendly practices.

Addressing reporters, Rinku Lather stated that Gomati district is currently not facing any shortage of petrol, diesel, or LPG. He explained that the initiative was introduced purely to encourage people to use fuel responsibly and help reduce environmental pollution.

He also informed that district administration officials and staff members will now be encouraged to either cycle or walk to the office as part of an awareness drive aimed at promoting a cleaner and greener environment.

The move has been widely appreciated as a positive example of sustainable living and responsible governance.
