Tripura CM reviews development projects in Dhalai District

Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha chaired an extensive review meeting on Saturday at the Manu Government Dak Bungalow to assess the progress of various development projects in Dhalai district.

The review focused on critical sectors such as Public Works Department, Drinking Water and Sanitation, Rural Development, Power, Education, Health, and Forest. 

Officials from the respective departments presented updates on the status of ongoing works, outlining both achievements and areas requiring attention.

Emphasizing the need for efficiency and accountability, Dr. Saha directed officials to complete all pending works within the stipulated time frame while ensuring uncompromised quality.

“Development must reach the grassroots efficiently. Delays are unacceptable, especially when they affect the everyday lives of people,” the Chief Minister said during the meeting.

Among the key dignitaries present were Dhalai Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Sushmita Das, MLA Shambhu Lal Chakma, MDCs Sanjay Das and Hangsakumar Tripura, Dhalai Zonal Development Chairperson Premlal Molsom, District Magistrate Saju Wahid A., Superintendent of Police Mihirlal Das, and Director of the Information and Cultural Affairs Department Bimbisar Bhattacharya, along with Sub-Divisional Administrators and senior district officials.
