Sepahijala DM invited as resource person at LBSNAA to share success story of 'Mission Sankalp'

In a significant moment of recognition, the District Magistrate and Collector of Sepahijala district Siddharth Shiv Jaiswal has been invited as a Resource Person by the prestigious Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie.

The DM will deliver two dedicated sessions today on “Mission Sankalp,” with a special focus on Sepahijala’s groundbreaking transformation into a Child Marriage-Free District.

Once identified among the most affected districts in India with widespread child marriage practices, especially in its rural belts, Sepahijala has witnessed a remarkable turnaround in recent years.

This transformation was achieved through sustained and coordinated efforts involving all key stakeholders. Central to this success was the proactive role of the District Child Welfare Committee (CWC) and the strategic awareness and enforcement campaigns carried out under the banner of "Mission Sankalp."

As the chief architect of this impactful initiative, the DM & Collector of Sepahijala will present the district’s success story at LBSNAA, sharing replicable best practices, innovative interventions, and actionable insights that contributed to eradicating the deeply rooted social evil of child marriage from the district.

This national platform will not only highlight Sepahijala’s progress but also serve as a model for other districts across the country. The DM’s participation at LBSNAA underscores the national recognition Sepahijala has received under Mission Sankalp and stands as a testament to relentless administrative resolve, active community engagement, and collective willpower.
