Arya Deb, a Class 10 student of Bhavan Vidya Mandir, Agartala, has earned a place in the Indian Book of Records for her remarkable portrait of legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar.

Arya, originally from Jaynagar in Teliamura under Khowai District, displayed extraordinary skill by completing the portrait within a short time, impressing the judges and securing national recognition.

A passionate painter since childhood, Arya studied in a local Teliamura school until Class 8 before shifting to Agartala, where she continued honing her artistic abilities alongside academics. Over the years, she has participated in several competitions, consistently showcasing her talent.

The news of her success has sparked celebrations in Teliamura, where relatives, teachers, and locals have showered her with congratulations. Her teachers described her as a dedicated student with immense potential, expressing confidence that she could become a renowned artist in the future.
